Burning Earth is the sixth studio album by the Greek power metal band Firewind. Released in 2003, the album features the band's signature blend of heavy riffs, blistering solos, and soaring vocals.

The album kicks off with the title track, which immediately sets the tone for the rest of the record. Gus G's guitar work is on full display, with intricate riffs and shredding solos that showcase his virtuosity. Vocalist Chity Somapala delivers an impressive performance, with his powerful voice soaring over the driving rhythms.

Tracks like "Steal Them Blind" and "Kill to Live" continue the high-energy assault, with catchy choruses and dynamic arrangements that keep the listener engaged. The ballad "Land of Eternity" provides a brief respite from the intensity, with Somapala's emotive vocals carrying the melody.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Fire and the Fury," a seven-minute epic that showcases the band's musical prowess. The song features multiple tempo changes, complex arrangements, and a jaw-dropping guitar solo that ranks among Gus G's best work.

Greek Power Metal band Firewind were essentially a launching pad for guitarist Konstantinos Karamitroudis's career. Musically, they were a D-tuned banal Power Metal band with palm-muted riffing, minor-key melodies and conventional progressions and their earlier albums had also poor production: such is the case of their second 2003 album, Burning Earth. The vocals by veternal Stephen Fredrick are hoarse and amateurish, the songwriting is based mostly over E-minor/D-minor power-chording and personality and charisma are lacking in the album.

Vi videos oficiales de la banda, muy buenos, que te encantaban, este es el segundo "full album" que escucho en youtube, y son decepcionantes, espero que estos sean los 2 peores albumes de la banda porque si son los mejores, me pego en tiro en los huevos, ya de por si, el ultimo con herbie, es increible, ese si me gusto mucho :) pero estos no, la musica esta muy fuerte, el cantante parece que esta detras de la musica, la verdad no me agradaron NADA este y el otro que es "between heaven and hell"
