I lived in nearby Renton back in 1978. Went to Seattle across the street from the Space Needle to see the King Tut Exhibit. Loved every moment of it! Even before that, I was with the Salvation Army Daycare program. One of the places we visited was the Seattle Aquarium. Loved every moment of it there, too! In all, Seattle was a great city, but there are still some crime areas.

LOVE this. Remember the song so well from back in the day and it made me want to visit. Finally got there in 2003 and SO want to go back. Beautiful photos superbly complement the song.

I remember hearing this song on the radio a lot when I was growing up....and I live in Australia. Love Perry Como! I was delighted to find a Perry Como LP at an Op Shop some years ago....and Seattle was one of the tracks - I had to buy it. ?
