Review by Lusy Thesunsetgirl

The Very Best Of The Shocking Blue is a compilation album that showcases the best work of the Dutch rock band, Shocking Blue. The album features 20 tracks that span their career from the late 1960s to the early 1970s, including their biggest hits like "Venus," "Mighty Joe," and "Never Marry a Railroad Man."

The album is a great introduction to the band's unique sound, which combines psychedelic rock with elements of pop and folk music. The lead singer, Mariska Veres, has a powerful and distinctive voice that is showcased on many of the tracks, including "Love Buzz" and "Inkpot."

Summary by Lusy Thesunsetgirl

The album also includes some lesser-known tracks that are worth discovering, such as the haunting ballad "Deamon Lover" and the funky "Blossom Lady." The Very Best Of The Shocking Blue is a must-have for fans of classic rock and anyone who wants to discover a lesser-known gem from the era.
